The air feels colder, the light changes, and the leaves are oh so slightly turning to beautiful hues of brown, yellow, and orange. Fall is coming. I'll admit it, I'm a summer girl at heart--I love the vibrant blue skies and the long, carefree days. It's always hard for me to say goodbye to summer but fall also has a special place in my heart. It is that time when my mind and my body relaxes and goes into rest mode after all the excitement from summer; it is that time when I slow down and reflect on life. Fall is that romantic yet melancholic season that renews both my body and spirit with the fresh, cold air it brings.
The Vivi Girl Fall/Winter '20 collection reminisces the fall days of years past, spent frolicking in the woods of New Jersey or enjoying a picnic in an orchard with friends, the crisp and cold air hitting our faces while we sip on warm apple cider. Our collection focuses on neutral, earthy colors and clean lines, with warm and cozy sweaters you can layer with one of our dresses or pair with a simple pair of pants in a beautiful shade of brown. Each piece has been curated, from the many independent designers that we work with, to bring you both style and comfort. The prints on the dresses that I picked remind me of the falling leaves, dancing in the air with the orange sunset as its backdrop and the fall flora against the dark sky. The sweaters that I brought into this collection are so comfortable that you can wear them around the house for the whole day yet stylish enough for when you need to make a quick run to the farmer's market. It was certainly a delight to put this collection together as it took me on a trip down memory lane, when the days are idyllic and carefree!
